The Livingston First Aid Squad and Fire Department worked jointly in 2005-2006 to reconstruct the Center Island between their buildings. The project took about 15 months from start to finish.

. The Livingston First Aid Squad has developed this web site in order to better inform the public about our organization and how we operate.
As the community of Livingston continues to grow, so do our responsibilities to the Township of Livingston, and with each passing day, we continue to meet the demand.
In 2009, the Livingston First Aid Squad looks to continue to meet the demands of our ever growing community. As the Township of Livingston continues to grow in numbers, the demands on our volunteers continues to grow as well and with great pride we continue to respond to the challenge. In 2008 we responded to 2,165 emergency calls, our highest total to date for a single year and the fourth consecutive year that we have surpassed the previous years totals.
We are always looking for new volunteers who wish to give back to their community. If you are interested in joining please click here to have your information sent to our Membership Committee. CPR Training for the Livingston Community
Are you interested in attending a CPR training course? The Livingston First Aid Squad continues to host American Red Cross CPR Training classes for the public on an as needed basis. Class are generally held on Monday and Thursday evenings and are held at Squad Headquarters at 50 South Livingston Ave. If you are interested in attending a CPR Class, please click on the following link to e-mail us.
The first aid squad and its volunteers are generally unknown to the everyday person, but for those many who each day call upon us to help someone in need, we are never forgotten. The Livingston First Aid Squad is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing emergency care for the residents, businesses, and visitors of Livingston, New Jersey. |
